We have just finished watching the last series of Torchwood, and it made me realise what a great ‘invention’ Sky+ is!!! I know that Torchwood finished ages ago, but we use Sky+ to record the whole series of things like Torchwood, Dr Who, 24, Rescue Me, New Tricks etc and then we tend to have a ‘binge’ on viewing them. The local history museum in Javea has about 100 or more photographs of the floods which occured last October . They were donated by the emergency and rescue services and 12 will be chosen to make a calendar for 2009.and then sold for a local charity .This charity will aim to buy a four wheel drive vehicle for women in Beleko ,a village in Africa .
